🙋 Impact Beyond has partnered with a fast-growing energy consultancy who are looking to add an experienced Energy Procurement and Trading Manager to lead the team.

🚀 YOUR MISSION: We're looking for an established energy procurement and trading manager to bring together the trading and procurement teams at a fast-growing energy consultancy. This job’s mission is leadership - leading both teams, streamlining processes, managing risk strategies, driving innovation, and delivering exceptional results for customers.

👥 ABOUT OUR CLIENT: A successful energy consultancy and software provider specialising in energy management and purchasing solutions for corporate and industrial clients across the UK. Now looking to align and integrate the Procurement and Trading teams into a unified, high performing function to enhance its service offering for their customers.

🛠️ WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

👫 Lead a team: build and mentor the procurement and trading teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence while ensuring they consistently meet their targets.

🤝 Stakeholder management: maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry partners, and oversee all elements of energy pricing—both actual trades and forecasts.

 📊 Energy management: optimising energy procurement for clients, guiding customers through transitions from fixed to flexible energy contracts, and running tenders for Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), including negotiating terms and liaising with suppliers.

📜 Risk management: designing risk management strategies to mitigate market risks.

💡 Market insights: ensure the team monitors market trends, develops trading strategies, executes trades, and provides insightful market reports to support client decision-making processes effectively.

🎓 YOUR CREDENTIALS: 

💼 Industry experience: You will have hands on experience of working in the energy industry with a strong understanding of the energy market, trading strategies and the regulatory environment.

🌍 Energy procurement and trading experience: You will have experience in energy procurement and trading including running tenders on PPAs and negotiating with energy suppliers.

👫 Leadership: An excellent and proven track record of leading teams, managing people and delivering strategic initiatives across a business.

🤝Relationship builder: you’ll be a natural at forming good relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders, working together and collaborating on a common goal.
