🚀 YOUR MISSION: 

We're looking for a Sustainability Manager who can join a well-known manufacturing company to help deliver all aspects of its ESG strategy. This job’s mission is to establish, develop and deliver all aspects of sustainability and our client’s ESG initiatives. 🛠️ WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

🌱 Embed sustainability: develop the sustainability strategy and deliver it across the UK business, review the ESG strategy in line with company objectives and global standards. Promote best practice and identify any sustainability related risks, mitigating them along the way. 

📊 Reporting: Manage the collection, analysis and reporting of data to demonstrate our client’s environmental impact and progress, including Scope 1, 2 and 3. Prepare sustainability information for annual accounts.  

🌍 Environment management: Maintain ISO Certifications and drive improvements to our client's carbon reduction programme and streamline their approach to waste management, including reduce, re-use and recycle programmes.  

🤝 Stakeholder engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, helping to ensure ethical sourcing and responsible production across their supply chain.

💬 Communication Guru: You're an excellent communicator and presenter, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels 

🤝 Relationship builder: You have great inter-personal skills, you’re able to build relationships easily and influence those around you. 

💡 Independent: You will be a self-starter, able to motivate yourself and think creatively so you can manage your own delivery and responsibilities. 

 🎓 YOUR CREDENTIALS: 

🎓 Sustainability experience: You will have hands on experience in sustainability having worked as a sustainability manager.  Ideally you will bring a holistic understanding of sustainability delivery and strategy. 

🌍 Carbon knowledge: You will have worked to reduce a company’s carbon footprint by scope and have a deep understanding of carbon reduction. 

📜 Reporting Savvy: You should have a good understanding of sustainability and ESG reporting, including ISO14001 & ISO50001 standards
